NEW VACANCY: TOUR GUIDE

Our client, a recognized rescue and conservation center/ sanctuary for wildlife (lions, tigers, hyenas, cheetahs, zebra and lemurs) located in Zanzibar is looking to hire a Tour guide to support them during the educational tours that include in particular a wide range of information about the animals, conservation and biology.
To conduct – in cooperation with colleagues - the educational tour of guests and support operations director regarding the tour
Candidate must have Passion for animal’s welfare and conservation

Interact with visitors from various countries: Inform them on the topics of the tour (content will be provided), animals, oversee visitor’s activities, maintain safety.

To present in fluent, professional, competent language to visitors and ability to speak in public and if necessary, use authority towards visitors to keep control of situation.

Ability to deal with popular science contents
Practical experience handling animals, diploma in Wildlife Conservation or in any field of life sciences will be an added advantage.
