Purpose for the job:
Under the supervision and guidance of the supervisor, the programme associate supports the respective section by carrying out a range of procedural, administrative, and operational tasks to help develop, implement and monitor their country programme, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations. nafasi za kazi UNICEF
Education:
Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
Experience:
A minimum of six years of administrative or clerical work experience is required.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is considered as an asset.

Scope of Work
Under the supervision of the HR Specialist, the incumbent will provide support to HR activities in all areas of recruitment, HR management, and learning and development. nafasi za ajira UNICEF
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
University or Advanced University degree or equivalent backgrounds in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field
Five years of work experience in the field of Human Resources management and personnel administration
Fluency in English is required
Knowledge of UNICEF HR rules, policy and procedures
Familiarity with SAP/VISION/TMS/legacy Talent Pools/ MS Office applications and developing country work experience background with emergency issues
Good judgment, interpersonal skills, initiative, high sense of responsibility, tact and discretion, ability to adapt to changes directions/thinking with sensitivity to different cultures
Good analytical, writing and communication skills. Good working experience in reporting and data management/presentation.
Skills in interviewing techniques including CBI.
Computer skills, including internet navigation, and various office applications ajira/kazi 2019
